So this is it, the final post on these Fender Kits we got finished now,, all jigged up and in production this is what they look like. The fender here is raw finish to give contrast to the mini struts, usually the fender would be supplied painted.
Struts are CNC milled & pressed 10mm plate, with inner blind holes so the fender mounts out of sight to keep a clean line. There is a captive nut on the fender to accept OEM seats and a Rocket seat will be out after xmas.
The rear cross brace plate is supplied with shims so you can alter the height of the fender off the rear tire, so if the guy lowers his ride or changes up to an 18" wheel etc, the fender will adapt.
Fenders are designed the length you see, for the struts, however we just did a custom one 2" longer for a dude in NY and it came out great, so custom lengths aren't a problem.
The pix show an optional lighting arrangement, the Kellermann stop/turn/tail mini lights are cut down and blended into a rubber lined tapered hole, again to keep it all clean.

American V, the U.K.'s main Harley mag, is now rollin on Facebook, MySpace & Twitter. Go check them out.
Chris's Bob - 1st Rocket Bobs Pintail Seat Unit in the U.S.!!
We supplied this seat to Chris in SC and its the first Pintail Seat Unit sold into the U.S.A. We couldn't be more blown away with the way Chris has put this bike together. Looks totally sick and I bet he's turnin heads down at his local meet.
We have a Customer Rides gallery on our website if you would like to see other examples of the Pintail Seat and our other products posted by our lovely jubbly customers.

Mini Bolt on Fender Kit - update
Not posted for a while, been setting up a jig to pop these bad boys out :) The pix show a strut setup straight after welding up in the jig, so this is a totally raw finish and obviously it now needs a good deal of prep before powder, but you get the idea:

Street Bob photo shoot for American-V magazine
We had our first photo shoot with Rich from American-V magazine today. The magazine are doing a feature on the Rocker build we did for Oxford Harley Davidson in the Dec/Jan issue, and then they will be doing a feature on Pintail Bob which should be in the following issue.
As you can see we were very lucky with the weather,, we seem to have found the only window this week when its not raining.
Many thanks to Rich and American-V. We can't wait to see how the photo's come out.
You can see a preview of the current issue here:

Performance Machines Rocker Build
Checked out this months Hot Bike magazine with the new Performance Machine Rocker build feature.
There are some great parts on it but overall it still has the Rocker back end. Definitely prefer ours :) just wish the dealer had given us the budget to carry the theme on through the front end. IMO we should have lowered the back of the fuel tank and frenched in the speedo, gone for a low set of narrow drag bars, lowered the forks by 2" and gone for a 23" x 4" front wheel carrying a Rocket Bobs fender. I think that way we'd have had a real show stopper.
But hey,, we were building on their $.
Pictures of the fender & new pintail seat will be posted this week.

Side Mount Kits
Started shipping our Stealth Sidemount Kits today :) At Rocket Bobs we don't do chrome, we don't do tassles, bags or doo dabs with flourishes on them. We believe in simple lines, we believe in keeping your Harley looking the way it should, old skool but with a Rocket Bobs twist to it.
These are simple, bare bones mounts for the ultimate clean look. Unfortunately you've got to run a tag so you may as well keep it as hidden as possible and blend it into the bike.
Made from stainless steel and powdered coated in any colour, they are tough and durable and guaranteed for life. Each kit contains the mount, frame, spacers, stainless fasteners and fitting instructions.

2009 Rocker build
Completed the 2009 Rocker build for Oxford Harley Davidson.
Here's a before (although it's already been lowered):
We took a stock base model Rocker, slammed it 2" and fabricated a new rear fender and struts.
We added a hand stitched leather seat and custom side mount, and went to town on the paint and powder coat.
This included a mirror black oil bag with machined and polished fins, high gloss black jugs, rotors, wheels and a whole host of other parts either flat or gloss coated.
Our paint guys colour matched the original Harley Davidson paint on the swing arm, fender and rear light.
We added diamond black forwards and grips from the Harley catalogue and custom machined Rocket Bobs rear turns.
Off to its new home :)
