One bad Rocker

Jeez, no posts for weeks then three come along at once!!

110" with heads, cans, race tuner and the awesome V&H full stainless competition pipe.  This blue Rocker was just too pretty for just how bad the motor was so we shot it with House of Kolor hot rod black, added a Rocket Bobs rear fender, handstitched gel seat and, of course, the stop/tail/turn rear Kellermanns.

Lower it and shorten the bars and you've got one bad Rocker.

What its all about

Here's a friend of ours heading into Dubai on one of the sickest Street Bob builds we've been involved in.  The bike is going to be featured soon in a couple of different magazines.  We'll post up some higher res. pics here at a later date.

Nightrain up date

Where the hell have we been for, like, the last month or so?? I know, I know, it's been awhile since we brought you anything new. What can I say? Life has been busy. 

Well, as promised way back in April, here's some more pics of the Harley Nightrain build.  First off a before pic:

The Nightrain is one of our favourite bikes ever produced by Harley but that rear fender is way out of proportion and detracts from the rest of the bike.  So this is something we here at Rocket Bobs have always been itching to have a go at,, and we finally had our chance :)

To show off the 200 tyre on this late model Train we went with an 8.5" fender, welded and shaped into two 10mm plate struts that were laser cut and fabricated in our workshops.  The frame needed some extensive modification to accept our mini set-up but, at the end of the day, we think it was worth it to turn this Nightrain into a hot little rod.

Cycle Works heading to Spain

Rocket Bobs will be setting up a new workshop on the south coast of Spain soon with Paul over at Snakebike Choppers.  We've just got back from a scouting trip there and we had a blast managed to pin down the location of a new workshop.  Its a brand new building located just outside Malaga and we can't wait to get out there and get into year round riding fabbing.

The whole Marbella custom scene is huge and we're going to be in there fabbing our kits and complete builds with Paul.  Here we are at the first management meeting.....

And of course we couldn't leave without visiting the local dealers :)  We first took a trip to Marbella Harley Davidson and quickly learnt the first rule in Spain,, everything shuts during siesta time!!  (They did finally let us in).

And then on to Malaga Harley Davidson where we had a good brainstorm over future Sporty mods while checking out the new Sportster 48.

We did squeeze in a bit of sightseeing too :)  The hat was just a loaner,,, honest!

Rocket Nightrain build

We've had to completely custom fab the seat base for this build.  Its the only way we can get it looking as clean and tight as possible.  The ECM is right in the way so we've sunk it into the fender and moulded a little box in the pan.  More details and pics to follow shortly.......

There's nothing like getting covered in needle sharp glass fibres on the hottest day of the year so far! :)

06 Harley Street Bob Voodoo conversion

Today we had a trip over to the east coast to drop off Lloyd's Bob.  We did a Voodoo conversion on it with a whole bunch of other mods to clean it up and give it a lower fatter look... full details up soon on the Rocket Bobs website.

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Lloyd for being such a great customer and allowing us free range on his bike :) We had a great day..... there was a whole weird sandwich thing involved (you need to check out the HDRidersUSA forum to find out what that's all about!).....

and the biggest Koi I have ever seen in my life!!
