Marvin's Harley Fat Bob

Just updated the website Customer Rides gallery with these pics from Marvin who lives in NY, USA. This is his 2015 Fat Bob with the extended length Voodoo Fender, Stealth Sidemount & Kellermann mini DF's. Marvin has also fitted an LED light array from Chrome Glow under the fender which we have used a few times now and is a great way to add minimal looking stop, tail and turn signals to your chopped back end :)

Dario's Harley Wide Glide

Thanks to Dario from California, USA for sending in some pictures of his 2012 Harley Davidson Wide Glide which he has fitted with our standard length Voodoo Fender.

Rolls Royce Superchargers

A quick video of some awesome 1930's technology,, this baby is a supercharger off a Rolls Royce Merlin engine. This is one of two that we are refurbishing and fitting to a 1937 Flathead Harley motor...

Oh and a turbo... And nitrous... Plus water injection and run it on Methanol...

Can't wait to see how this sucker turns out!! :)

Rocket Bobs Flush Fit Console

Tank consoles on many bikes, particularly Harley's, are just plain ugly and we get many requests for something a bit less clunky.  So this is an example of a Flush Fit Console that we do,,, we really should work on a better name...

This one was made for our Harley Davidson Rocker C build 'Blackbird'

The console on Blackbird has been fitted with a Motoscope mini speedo by Motogadget which we love and have used on many of our builds. The German engineering has produced a 'highly compact digital instrument with a unique LED display in the instrument realm. 251 ultra bright LEDs provide for an essentially rimless and extremely readable display surface which can entirely be used for the display of readings. This intricate and innovative technology combines a maximum of display surface with minimal casing dimensions'.

Motogadget pride themselves on the 'unadorned and elegant design' of the Motoscope mini which we think works particularly well with the design idea behind our consoles.

Where's a guy to find some stainless steel oil fittings?

We've been on the hunt for stainless steel oil fitting for what seems like an aaaaaaaagge now. We hunted high and low and far and wide,, ok well most of it was done online while I was sat on my ar$e but you get the drift,, and we just couldn't find them anywhere. So what's a guy to do in this situation??,, well I figured that we'd better start making them ourselves :) 

Stainless CNC turned oil fittings which will be available soon from the Rocket Bobs online store,, or you can always just pop in to see us and pick a set up for yourself (please bring doughnuts).

Harley Davidson Shovelhead,, a relationship that often involves equal parts love and hate.  I won't say which one is being felt around here at Rocket Bobs at the moment,, but pretty much lost the feeling in my right leg about now :)

The Harley Davidson Shovelhead engine is one of our all time favourites and has featured in a number of our custom bikes including Gas'd Rat, Bankrobber & Hipster Killer. It was manufactured from 1966 to 1984 by Harley-Davidson and produced 10% more horsepower than the Panhead engine which it replaced.

There are a number of companies now producing Shovelhead-style engines but these babies below are originals from the 1970's.
