Michael's Street Bob

Bolt on Fender for Harley Davidson Street Bob / Dyna - Voodoo Fender UPDATE

It's been a long time since we originally posted about the Rocket Bobs Voodoo Fender kit waaaaaay back in 2009 so I think a wee update is long overdue.

The original Voodoo Bob where it all started!

Bike Shed on film

As usual we didn't manage to get our act together to get the camcorder out for Bike Shed London but there are some cool videos up on YouTube,, here's a couple that have done a great job of covering the show (and they may also show a wee glimpse of Gas'd Rat) ...

Gas'd Rat close up

The Bike Shed show this weekend is going to be the Rats final show before it undergoes some major surgery. We are just giving it another clean before it gets loaded up in the van so here are some extreme close ups,, first to spot any dirt gets a prize gets the opportunity to come and help us clean!

Mike's Cincinnati Custom

Thanks to Mike from Cincinnati, OH, USA who has sent us some pics of his custom 2013 Harley Davidson Street Bob with the standard length Rocket Bobs Voodoo Fender.

DLC porn

We've had a few people asking about the black stanchions we use in some of Rocket Bobs custom bike builds. The black finish is called DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) and is a high strength low friction coating that can be applied to your existing tubes.  It's been used on forks for many years as it makes for a better seal and less friction & so better for response (which is why you often see it on race bikes).
